Supporting early career researchers

A programme to help support the career development of the next generation of researchers.

An early career researcher (ECRs) is someone that has not yet transitioned to an independent researcher with a permanent research post, including both clinical and non-clinical researchers.

We aim to support conference attendance and networking, personal development, provision of access to expert advice from Kidney Research UK staff, patient and public involvement and engagement, and commercial partnerships.

What the programme includes:

  • Virtual and in-person opportunities for networking, personal development and skills building
  • Access to an online ECR networking group
  • Support from the Kidney Research UK team.
