We want more MPs to understand the impact that kidney disease has on people’s lives, their family and the NHS, and how they can champion kidney disease in parliament.<\/p>\n

Change needed to improve mental health care<\/h2>\n

In partnership with the Centre for Mental Health we launched our report\u00a0 ‘Addressing the mental health challenges of life with kidney disease; The case for change’<\/em><\/a>. The report made recommendations to address the significant mental health needs for people living with chronic kidney disease.<\/p>\n

We’re asking government to ensure that a qualified mental health practitioner is part of the renal multidisciplinary team to support patients’ care.<\/p>\n
