Treating all stages of chronic kidney disease now costs NHS Scotland almost \u00a30.3bn a year and could rise to over \u00a30.6bn by 2033.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our action plan making a series of recommendations to improve the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease for everyone in Scotland. \u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a of care.<\/p>\n<p>The report outlines the type of support needed to improve outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re working to influence change based on the recommendations in the report, from Ministerial calling on the Scottish Government to tackle kidney disease as a core priority and support a national strategy to combat chronic kidney disease.<\/p>\n<p> Based on the recommendations of our report,\u00a0it reveals that change is urgently needed as the number of kidney patients is growing fast.<\/p>\n<p>The Scottish Government has responded positively to our policy report\u00a0and has committed to do more to support kidney patients in Scotland.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidneyresearchuk.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Scotland-CKD-report-final.pdf\"
